Engineering Project Manager

Help us lead a cross‑functional project that enable aseptic production of life‑saving medicines. This on-site role in Kalundborg offers the opportunity to shape projects that support medicines for rare diseases in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and to further strengthen your project management skills through a large-scale project.
Your new role
As Engineering Project Manager in AM KA Project Management Office you will work closely with one of our Senior Project Managers and several specialists. You will be part of a project team handling the largest investment project in our area. You will be on site every day in Kalundborg and responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules and resource forecasts
- Driving structured risk management and implementing mitigation actions
- Reporting project performance and status to stakeholders and steering groups
- Establishing fit‑for‑purpose project governance and supporting key project decisions
- Ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk project models and QMS/EHS requirements
- Handling day-to-day collaboration with vendors and engineering partners
In this role you will have the opportunity to take significant ownership and become part of a meaningful project at Novo Nordisk with skilled colleagues and various stakeholders across Novo Nordisk.
Your new department
In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
You will join the AM KA Project Management team in Kalundborg — a dedicated group supporting projects across aseptic manufacturing. The team works closely with sister departments, Regulatory Affairs, CMC and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects deliver robust, compliant and sustainable outcomes that enable production and patient access. You will be part of a team consisting of both internal and external Project Managers.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for you who have strong proven project management track record within a technical field. It is a clear plus if your experience is within pharma industry. Moreover, we are looking for one who have:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences or related field
- A minimum five years of experience in Project Management in a relevant field
- Strong organisation, planning and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience with risk management, governance and project reporting
- Familiarity with project management tools and methods, PEM, Clarity etc.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities; fluent in English. Danish is an advantage
It is a plus if you have a technical understanding of HVAC, freeze-drying or similar.
