The position
As the Director for FEED, you will lead projects of significant strategic importance to Novo Nordisk, with high visibility and strong support from Senior Management. In this role, we expect you to be an engaged, approachable, and supportive leader who inspires and motivates your team members to excel in their roles.
Your main responsibilities will be to:

Initiate new expansion projects defining solution scope, schedule, costs, risk and resources.

Define all the IT, Automation, and Robotic solutions required to operate new facilities, based on our standards and application target architecture.

Prioritize and set the direction within the different projects in the early phases of a project and hand over to the execution organization, when projects are defined and approved according to the gate model used in Novo Nordisk.

Coaching and mentoring project managers, architects and leaders in front end engineering design and developing new IT, Automation, and Robotic competencies, attracting, hiring, and onboarding new colleagues.

Collaborate closely with projects in the execution phase to refine standards and implement lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement across initiatives.

Secure compliance with the standards and scope defined.
You primary location will be Kalundborg, with regular presence required at other API construction sites or with other stakeholders in Greater Copenhagen.
Additionally, some travel may be required depending on the specific project needs.
Qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Director who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. You will have a proven track record in most of the following skills & experiences stated:

An academic degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar).

8+ years of experience with Project and Program Manager within IT & OT.
-
Preferable experience in change management and regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries.

Experience with IT & OT implementations and IT infrastructure preferably in production areas.

Preferable experience with MES, DCS, SCADA, and other Process Automation Systems
-
People management experience.
-
Experience from a large global company and are used to working with different cultures.

Experience managing a complex stakeholder and vendor setup.

Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken is a requirement.
