In this role, you will be a key partner to both manufacturing and the business. You will not only work with data, visualization, and digital solutions, but also understand user needs and translate them into solutions that support better decision-making and increased productivity. A significant part of the role is therefore being close to the business and understanding how data can support daily operations and long-term decision-making.

You will play a central role as the link between operations, data, and decision-makers.

The position consists of two main areas of responsibility:

Data Engineering and Productivity Improvements

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and understanding business needs for data.
• Preparing, structuring, and modelling data for analysis and visualization.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and visualization solutions.
• Supporting productivity improvements through digital solutions.
• Contributing to the development of software solutions such as Power BI, RPA, web applications, or similar tools.
• Collaborating closely with users and stakeholders to ensure solutions create value.
  
  

Local Data Support

You will:

• Ensure visibility and understanding of data and data flows across DPM KA.
• Develop and maintain data flows from primary data sources such as PLC systems and SQL servers to Novo Nordisk’s Enterprise Data Lake.
• Support high data quality and availability.
• Contribute to the development of future solutions within Databricks and AI-based data platforms.
• Ensure robust and scalable data solutions for the organization.
  
  

Who are you?

Experience from a manufacturing environment is an advantage, but not essential. Most importantly, you are curious, business-oriented, and motivated by understanding users’ challenges and translating them into value-creating solutions.

You hold a relevant educational background within areas such as Data Science, Computer Science, Software Development, Automation, Digitalisation, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

We are open to both Bachelor's and Master's degree holders.

We imagine that you have experience in several of the following areas:

• Data visualization using Power BI, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Data modelling and data preparation.
• Programming in C#, SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
• Development of data flows and data integrations.
• Statistical analysis and data processing.
• Dashboard development and reporting.
• Modern data platforms and cloud-based solutions.

Experience with Databricks, AWS, Alteryx, or similar technologies is an advantage but not a requirement.

About the Department:

You will become part of Business Support in Drug Product Manufacturing Kalundborg.

DPM KA consists of approximately 570 employees responsible for transforming active pharmaceutical ingredients into finished medicines for patients around the world. The production area includes environmental monitoring, washing and sterilization, formulation, aseptic filling, freeze-drying, and visual inspection.

Business Support functions as a cross-functional support organization across the department. The team collaborates with many different stakeholders and supports operations, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives. This gives you a broad range of interfaces and the opportunity to work across a variety of processes and professional disciplines.

Practical Information:

Start date: As soon as possible, and no later than November 1
Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension
Employment is subject to a background check and criminal record certificate

Salary: For this position, the annual base salary ranges between DKK 499,600 and DKK 734,400, depending on the position level. Placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Bonus and employee benefits: The compensation package may include short-term and/or long-term incentive schemes as well as additional employee benefits, depending on job level, geographical location, professional area, and relevant market benchmarks.
