We are looking for a talented communicator to join Novo Nordisk manufacturing in Kalundborg, which is the workplace for more than 3,000 dedicated Novo Nordisk employees and the world’s largest insulin production. Your role as a Communication Partner will be to support the management teams and colleagues within three business areas on organisational and leadership communication, at a strategic as well as hands on level. The job also includes external communication and public affairs activities.



About the department
The position as Communication Partner is based in the division Diabetes API in Kalundborg, which is part of the global production division Product Supply counting about 14,000 employees worldwide. Thus, as Communication Partner in Diabetes API you will become member of a global communicator’s network in Novo Nordisk.


With reference to our the head of communication and public affairs, you will be a part of a dedicated communication team covering the whole palette of communications tasks from employer branding, public affairs, media relations and social media to organisational communication, leadership communication and change management – always lead by the needs, challenges and opportunities of the business.


The job
As Communication Partner you will have a strong focus on effective change communication and strategic internal communication. In this role, you will advise colleagues on communication challenges and possibilities, and drive communication planning in relation to cross-organisational projects, events and changes in Diabetes API from the initial strategy and planning to the production of the final communication solution being it compelling slide decks, videos, websites, articles or an engaging event.


In addition, you will develop and produce content for our communication channels and medias such as town hall meetings, intranet, Yammer, videos and presentations and participate in the development and implementation of cross organisational communication projects. Finally, the job also includes participation in various external communication projects and task such as events, stakeholder relations, social media, media relations and employer branding.


The preferred candidate has an educational background within communication or journalism and a minimum of five years’ documented experience as a professional communicator and advisor, working with internal and external communication. You have solid business understanding, preferably from working in a multinational pharma organisation. You have the ability to translate complex matters into simple solutions. You are a brilliant communicator with advanced spoken and written Danish and English. You have experience with top management communication support, and you are not afraid to challenge your colleagues on decisions. You have great project management skills, writing skills, strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop and InDesign, as well as web and film production.

You can work independently and at the same time, you are a team player, always working towards reaching strong business results. You have excellent collaboration skills, and in your mind no assignment is too big or too small for you to take on.
