The position

You will work closely with the Chemists and Laboratory Technicians within the department and will be responsible for chemical and/or biochemical analysis of products. You will be responsible for one or several analyses at a given point of time and analysis equipment linked to the methods. Furthermore, you will be required to drive minor improvement projects within the department. Also, you are required to perform various compliance tasks, updating instructions and providing support to laboratories on a daily basis.

You will also support the Laboratory Technicians in their daily operations to ensure that the analytical performance and equipment live up to the industry standard. You can look forward to an exciting and varied working day where you have influence on your work and responsibility for ensuring that the team reach their targets. This could also be your opportunity to build a strong network within Novo Nordisk while developing your skills further.



You hold an Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry or another relevant field within the Natural Sciences. Furthermore, you have been working in a GMP regulated laboratory and have experience with equipment and flair for IT. Experience working with one or more of the analysis techniques HPLC, Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) , Coagulation assay (CLOT) or Endotoxin analyses (LAL) is a must and experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is an added advantage. We also see is as an advantage if you have experience with maintaining and qualifying equipment.

On a personal level you have a quality mindset and are a team player possessing good communication and collaboration skills combined with a structured way of working and ability to work independently. Moreover, you have a high level of energy to drive yourself and your colleagues forward along with being result oriented and taking pride in delivering on your milestones.

Above all, you keep a sense of perspective and a good sense of humour in a busy working environment thereby being agile to changes and having a positive attitude to make a difference by challenging the status quo. Lastly, you must have good fluency in written and spoken Danish.


About the department

Biotech and Rare disease QC (BRD QC) in Kalundborg is a laboratory with high quality and LEAN standards. The department consists of 28 dedicated employees distributed in 2 teams. We perform a wide range of chemical and biological analyses on aseptically produced products and active pharmaceutical ingredients products.
