The Position

You will be working in a pharmaceutical production facility in accordance with current quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements and will be a key initiator to ensure launches of some of Novo Nordisk A/S life-saving medicines.

 

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Support our production with automation support capabilities
  • Identify improvements, and optimise processes by using LEAN tools
  • Contribute to upgrades, corrective measures, and ensure continuous production
  • Collaborate on projects with automation support perspective and capabilities.

 

You will be joining the Automation & MES team, where we among other things, provide support to some of the newest production lines. Today the team consists of 11 highly skilled technicians and supporters. Our main responsibility is to apply a problem solving, and service minded mindset for our production lines, as well as for all supporting systems. Ensuring continuous production from an IT/Automation perspective.

 

Our Automation support team is handling a lot of complexity and is prerequisites for our production lines to run continuously, and therefore we need to anchor our learnings.). Being a part of an 24/7 on-call duty setup is mandatory for this position. This means that you will be on-call, after normal working hours, in a rotation setup with your colleagues.

 

You will also get involved in projects, that are ongoing in the building, to enable sufficient IT capacity in the projects, but also to ensure a smooth handover, when going into production.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • An academic or technical background
  • Working experience within complex automation systems
  • Fluent English and Danish skills.

About the Department

The unit consists of approximately 35 colleagues divided across 3 different teams who work together. We cover most aspects of quality, development, maintenance and operation of the site’s IT and Automation architecture, hardware, software, infrastructure, and documentation.

 

Moreover, we play a vital role during process design, and redesign through collaboration with the factory’s product and process responsible.
