The position

As our new IT Supporter, you and the team will be responsible for the daily IT/OT support for our production facilities, consisting of a filling line with more than 35 fully automated systems.

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Ensure production is running smoothly and always according to both internal and external requirements
  • Support the daily operation of IT systems and automation equipment, including trouble shooting in our production facility software
  • Participate in qualification of IT- and automation changes

Furthermore, you will get the chance to participate in projects ensuring both old and new IT systems are raised to today’s standards.

Your workday will be varied and often busy, as the IT system and automation equipment are key for the success of our production. You will play a key role in ensuring excellent collaboration with a great variety of stakeholders in different areas both within and outside the department.

Along with your colleagues you will be part of covering our “on call” agreement in shift ensuring support on any issues 24/7/365.

 

Qualifications

We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within IT, Automation, Technology or Marine Engineering
  • Experience working with IT and Automation support is an advantage, but please also feel free to apply if you’re a recent graduate
  • Knowledge of PLC, IT infrastructure, SCADA/HMI (iFIX) and servers in a Windows domain environment is an advantage
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English

About the department

DD & IT for PS BRD is responsible for IT and automation for the production sites. This responsibility spans across development and maintenance of local and global IT and automation solutions, infrastructure, compliance, and projects in collaboration with colleagues from global IT units and external vendors/service providers. The organization support two production area of BRD; AP and FP. In this unit, colleagues are divided into 7 teams handling IT Support, Compliance and Projects. All departments collaborate to unite IT & automation across BRD sites and facilitate cross-organizational synergies.
