Associate Process Scientist/Engineer (Temporary position)

Do you want to play a key role in optimising production processes that help bring life‑changing medicines to patients worldwide? As a Process Supporter, you will support operations, drive improvements, and help secure robust, efficient, and compliant processes in a dynamic production environment.
Your new role
In this role, you will contribute to the stability and performance of our production processes by supporting day‑to‑day operations and driving improvements. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support to production teams and resolving operational challenges.
- Analysing existing production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborating with Quality to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
The position is a temporary position of 12 months and will be based in Kalundborg.
Your new department
You will join M2 Recovery, part of GMS API Manufacturing IO (International Operations) where we are responsible for the recovery steps of both insulin and GLP‑1. The department consists of approximately 260 dedicated colleagues working closely together to secure stable and efficient operations. At Novo Nordisk, your development is a shared priority — you will receive the training and support needed to grow into a confident and independent process supporter.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine you bring:
- A master’s degree within a STEM field (e.g. biology, microbiology, biotechnology etc.).
- 1–2 years of experience with process optimisation, technical support, or similar areas.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a structured approach to complex challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Advantageous: familiarity with GMP, quality assurance systems, knowledge of bioburden / microbiology or process management tools.
As a person, you are proactive, curious, and motivated by improving processes. You thrive in a busy production environment and can prioritise effectively while maintaining a high-quality mindset. Moreover, you are eager to learn, which is key to succeed as our new Associate Process Scientist/Engineer.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 499,600.00 to 734,400.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
