The Position

As an Associate Manager in Raw materials & solvents (RMS), you will lead a team of 12 competent and independent technicians and academics and develop yourself in an area that is constantly changing. You will be part of a well-functioning and strong professional team, which is characterized by responsibility, cross-functional cooperation, and a good mood.

Your most important task is to get the team to contribute actively and constructively to the challenges you encounter in your everyday work, and this requires presence and visible leadership. The team's work areas are complex and place great demands on being able to set direction and prioritize.

Your main tasks will be to:

•         Provide support for production within RMS

•         Ensure that the team meets planned deadlines

•         Ensure that you always have the most efficient workflows through continuous development and optimization

•         Through daily board meetings to follow up on your team's performance and make the necessary priorities

Fostering LEAN  and continuous improvement culture.


Qualifications

To succeed in the role, you have:

•         Strong technical background complimented by bachelors or masters degree

•         Leadership toolbox with some years of management experience, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry

•         Fluent communication skills in English and motivation to learn Danish

You thrive on taking responsibility, setting direction, and developing people to perform at their best. You must be able to challenge, inspire, and develop both your individual employees and the team. You get good opportunities for close sparring with your team leader colleagues both in PP Production Support and across PP. You are an experienced user of the MS Office package and know how to use established IT systems in everyday life.

 

About the Department

PP Production Support consists of 140 employees divided into four teams: Calibration, EL and SAP support – Mechanical Maintenance – Utility Support - RMS Support - RMS operation and ATOS team.

The department's primary goal is to ensure stable production and good quality in everything we do in PP. The RMS Support team's main responsibility is to support the daily operation of solvent and solution use throughout and across the four plants and ensure support for a range of projects related to new facilities, in addition to deviation prevention and optimization changes to our setup.
