The position

As an Associate Manager for the Operators in purification production, your primary role will be to build the team from the project phase and into operation. You will lead employees in your team and set direction. You will manage your team based on respect and humility and have a strong focus on their personal development.

 

Your key tasks will be to:

• Support your employees through sparring and decision-making, prioritization, and removal of roadblocks

• Ensure that the right competencies are available and developed

• Hire employees according to the needs defined in the ramp-up plans for the upcoming facility

• Collaborate internally with other line managers, project managers, and employees in other parts of the project organization and our sister project

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you:

• Hold a relevant academic degree, e.g., within engineering or relevant experience from managing an operator team in a production environment

• Ideally, worked within the medical and/or pharma industry and have a solid understanding of GMP

• Possess 3+ years of management experience, e.g., from manufacturing or other relevant areas

• It is considered an advantage to have a broad and well-proven leadership toolbox

• You are fluent in both Danish and English

 

You have a solid understanding of people management, and as a person, you are motivated by working in a dynamic and developing environment, where there is a constant focus on improving. Your personal qualities define you as structured, self-starting, and capable of finalizing tasks. In your daily challenges, you have the personal skills that enable you to understand your employees’ processes to a necessary level so you can support them with sparring, direction, and decision-making. You have curiosity and are eager to learn and see the benefits of being present at the shop floor.

 

The department

We are currently building a new factory with a high focus on technology and automated processes. Our department will continue to expand over the coming years as we go from the project phase to production. In this new team, you will be collaborating closely with colleagues with backgrounds within chemistry, engineering, project management, line management, health &

safety, automation, and facility planning.
