The Position

As our Key Account Manager Cardiometabolic, you will be the go-to person for specialists within the cardiovascular, diabetes/obesity area. It is a new position within which you will set the rules and the pace in your own district with the aim of ensuring access to our innovative semaglutide portfolio among relevant cardiovascular, diabetes and obesity Healthcare professionals across the Stockholm north and Uppsala/Gävle region.

On the field each day is different, and it is only you who sets the limits on what to achieve in your daily work. While interacting with Health care professionals, you will have the opportunity to challenge old patterns, improve knowledge and make an impact on patients’ lives.

You will lead the work towards strategic business planning, building the market and identifying new business opportunities in your region where innovative thinking can get you far and beyond territory sales targets. You will take care of the planning and strategizing with clear objectives and priorities in mind as well as driving multi-channel engagement activities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Securing Specialist engagement and endorsement for the semaglutide portfolio for the merged area of diabetes and obesity
  • Securing endorsement of the products across cardiologists, endocrinologists and diabetologists in the region based on the molecule including data and efficacy on cardiovascular risk factors
  • Securing successful pre-launch and launch of the product for next generation effective weight and comorbidity reduction
  • Having an ongoing interaction with customers in secondary care units to improve knowledge and impact outcome of the T2-diabetes and obesity treatment in the district
  • Creating and following up on own account plan to grow business including coordinating with other roles and functions

 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone innovative with a genuinely patient-centred approach and great interpersonal skills, who enjoys working cross-functionally with different stakeholders, both internal and external ones. Our ideal candidate thrives when engaging with customers in field as well as remotely and brings fresh ideas to the table. Furthermore:

 

  • Preferable been working with either cardiologists and/or diabetes/obesity specialists before 
  • You have a strong background in sales and usage of PSS or similar
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree as well as a LIF certification
  • You have a digital mindset and ability to prioritize
  • You are fluent speaker of Swedish and English
  • You ideally have a strong professional network within cardiology/diabetology, which together with your communication and collaboration skills help you excel in your role and bring best results

 

About the Department

This position is sitting in the department of Sales for Novo Nordisk Sweden where you’ll be reporting to the National Specialist Sales Manager. You’ll join an agile team of highly qualified professionals where you will have the opportunity for professional growth in a friendly environment.
