The position

As we are ramping up, creating a solid Supply Chain department with international and local suppliers, as well as CMOs, you will have significant influence on our sourcing agenda and strategic development. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful strategy implementation. Although no people leadership is involved, your proactive approach and strategic drive will propel our organization forward.

 

You can look forward to:

 

  • Driving implementation of new suppliers, raw materials, and packaging materials.
  • Acting as a key liaison between the organization and sourcing, optimizing Supply Chain processes, and resolving supplier-related terms and obstacles.
  • Ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and regulatory requirements as well as documenting qualification and validation of suppliers and products.
  • Providing SAP super user guidance and support to colleagues regarding system interfaces and process optimization.
  • Highlighting challenges and pitfalls and navigating the organization to overcome beforehand.

 

You will work broadly and closely with a variety of stakeholders such as Manufacturing Development, Warehousing, Production, Process Support, QC and QA to ensure the successful implementation of our strategies while fostering a collaborative and productive environment. 

 

The job is located in the northern part of Køge, just 20 min. drive south of Greater Copenhagen area with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week, on average. You will be expected to travel less than 1 week per year.

 

Qualifications
We imagine that a successful candidate will have:

 

  • An academic degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences). Candidates with no academic degree but long experience will also be considered.
  • Prior experience in either supply chain management, vendor management, supply and demand management, and/or inventory optimization.
  • Familiarity working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment, including experience documenting GMP qualification of suppliers and/or products, handling change management, and deviations.
  • Fluency in English.

 

As a person, you are capable of managing uncertainty and changing demands by identifying and challenging stakeholders, hence organizing, and creating clarity through project management and meeting/workshop facilitation. You can act and think tactically and strategically as well as excel in communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers. You are able to deliver good results timely and handle complex decision-making processes with unclear responsibility and uncertain risks. Last but not least, you are proactive, innovative and a good team player.

About the Department

You will become part of a team of 14 Inbound Supply colleagues, who are responsible for vendor management of all raw materials (chemicals and packaging) and process aids for production and CMOs. The team is likewise responsible for supply and qualification of new materials and/or suppliers in relation to product launches. The Inbound Supply team is part of the Supply Chain and Procurement department covering Warehousing, Indirect Procurement and Production Planning.
