Senior Project Manager for Investment program

The position
In this position, you will become part of the Project Management Office team, consisting of experienced and dedicated project managers and project supporting staff functions. You will be leading one of our largest investment programs ensuring production capacity for new products, this involve decommissioning an old facility and establish a new production-line from Conceptual Brief to Validated process ready for manufacturing of pharmaceutical ingredients for our customers.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Leading a complex program of subprojects and interacting with a group of team members (internal and external) including Project Coordinators, Project Planner and Controllers, specialists, engineers, and operators.
- Head up a steering committee on behalf of the project/program owner, prepare progress reporting and conduct steering committee meetings
- Creating, together with key project members, project plan with appropriate levels of detail and presenting these plans to senior management.
- Utilising the established governance within project management to provide clarity on responsibilities and expectations in your project team, meeting structure, feedback procedures and the routines of collaboration.
Your workplace will be at our site in Køge, beautifully located by the bay.
You will report directly to the Senior Manager of the Project Management Office, working with highly skilled colleagues, collaborators and external consultants in a combined effort.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you possess:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. within Engineering, Life Sciences, Project Management or similar.
- Extensive experience in project management of capacity projects within the life science industry.
- GMP, qualification, validation and/or automation experience, as well as proven record of managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with decommissioning, new process lines, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API, and carcinogenic substances will all be recognised as beneficial experience.
The job requires a high degree of independence and a flair for leadership. On a personal level you have an innovative mindset, a personal drive and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, where teamwork is on top of the agenda. You have a positive can-do attitude and know how to stay focused, despite changing demands or tight deadlines. The job requires the ability set goals, deliver results and to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way.

In the Project Management Office (PMO) at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S, we strive to be at the forefront of Project Management and Project Portfolio Management. We work continuously with developing best practice, sharing our learnings across projects and support our project managers through close collaboration with professional project resources such as Planners, Controllers, and Assistants.
