The position

As our new Senior Automation Engineer you will play a key role influencing our current, as well as our future, production facilities with robust solutions within automation and digitalisation. You will solve your tasks independently as well as in collaboration with professionals with various backgrounds within academics and technical expertise.

As part of the Operational Technology team, no days will be the same, as you collaborate with your colleagues across the site to ensure robust automation solutions in multiple facilities which in turn produce a range of different products within resins and enzymes, as well as a packaging facility.

We work with SCADA System Platform from AVEVA (formerly known as Wonderware) and predominantly Siemens PLCs.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine you have:

  • Experience with automated production systems in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (GMP/GXP), as well as validation experience
  • Experience working with Siemens PLC. Hands-on experience with TIA Portal is highly preferred
  • Experience with SCADA systems, in particular AVEVA System Platform (formerly Wonderware)
  • Hands-on usage or solid understanding of the S-88 standard for batch process control is a great advantage
  • Strong project participation skills will be considered a strong asset
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within in automation, robotics, or OT related fields or a strong technical background, both combined with solid experience within one or more automation disciplines
  • Is fluent in technical English and preferably have the ability to speak or at least is willing to learn Danish.

 

On a personal level your structural approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while maintaining an eye for the details. You communicate effectively while securing adherence to technical quality standards, as S-88, GAMP5 etc.. You are open minded and happy to meet new people as part of participating in projects / cross-functional teams. You thrive in an environment where you can challenge ideas and scout for a robust automation design, fit for future.

About the department

Your new department is composed of experienced and highly qualified professionals and technicians, working diligently in support of the entire value chain, from Research & Development to production and finally Sales & Marketing. We support our production and laboratories with daily operations and projects aiming to implement new products, improve our current OT processes and implementation of new digitalisation solutions. The department has grown significantly for the past year and today consists of 40+ employees and several external partners in support.
