Novo Nordisk Pharmatech is seeking a Partner Sales Manager to join our team.

 

The position

As the Partner Sales Manager at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech – located in the US - your primary responsibility will be to manage distributors and agents across your region. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with partners, driving sales growth, and delivering against ambitious sales targets. Key responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth through partners
  • Create and execute account plans to achieve your sales budget
  • Identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities and market segments
  • Managing day-to-day relationships with partners, including negotiating contracts, terms of agreements and business performance management
  • Providing training and support to partners to ensure they are equipped to sell our products effectively
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and customer support to ensure that partners have the resources they need to be successful

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of several years of success in managing sales channels and growing accounts. You should have a deep understanding of the life science industry and preferably you have strong chemical knowledge combined with solid commercial acumen.

Moreover, we imagine you have:

  • Significant sales experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical- or related industry
  • A proven track record of managing distributors and agents and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with partners at all levels
  • Strong negotiating skills and experience in managing complex contractual agreements
  • Analytical mindset and ability to work with data to drive insights and actions
  • Result-oriented working independently to identify new business opportunities and drive sales
  • A Master’s degree in business or related field
