Then you might be our new Mechanical Engineer in Technical Support! This position is first line for support and optimization of production equipment and utilities.
 

The Position

As Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S, which produces important ingredients for pharmaceutical production. You will be employed in Technical Support, which is part of Manufacturing, which is responsible for all production on the site.

 

Join our "Equipment & Utilities" team as an Equipment Manager! Work alongside skilled colleagues to ensure stable and reliable production equipment and utilities. Tackle daily challenges with systematic problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvements to boost uptime and efficiency.

 

The main task will be to take the lead in optimizing equipment and processes, from design and planning to implementation and qualification. You will participate in safety and risk workshops, implementing necessary changes to equipment. Providing valuable input and suggestions for major optimization projects led by our project department is also a crucial part of the role.

 

The role offers a chance to be proactive in installing sensors to monitor equipment health and leverage data for ongoing reliability enhancements. In this position, you will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, both internally and externally, to maintain high reliability and stability in production.

 

Qualifications

The qualifications we value include having: 
•    A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or similar field.
•    Strong competencies in production equipment and utilities.
•    Experience with GMP, LEAN and can use tools for systematic problem solving. 
•    Experience with the design of equipment and installations, including validation and qualification. 
•    Full professional proficiency in written and spoken Danish and English.

 

As a person, you can set specific requirements for production equipment and have knowledge of automation, regulation and measurement technology. Being knowledgeable about tools for assessing maintenance and having knowledge of SAP is crucial in this role.

 

Being familiar with IT systems and curious about new technology for data collection and improvements are key to succeed in this role. We will welcome a colleague who is familiar with Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things and thinks it is exciting to work with digitalization. 

 

About the Department

Technical Support is responsible for production equipment, utilities, maintenance, calibration and facility management at our production site in Køge. The department consists of a workshop team, a Facility Service team, a planning and purchasing team, as well as the team that you will be a part of; "Equipment & Utilities", which consists of 11 engineers, machinists and technicians.

 

We optimize and maintain all production equipment in collaboration with the other employees in Manufacturing. We run improvement projects and solve daily challenges on our equipment and utilities. We are also responsible for planning and support on facility management on our site.

 

We perform risk analyses to optimize maintenance on our production equipment, so that production can run without unplanned downtime. We are in the process of implementing SAP for the management and documentation of our maintenance activities. All equipment gets a risk-based maintenance strategy before we move it to SAP.
