Apply now and become our new Key Account Manager, playing a crucial role in driving the sales of Novo Nordisk's portfolio to primary care in Region Zealand, Denmark. You will have the opportunity to partner for better care by positioning Novo Nordisk as a preferred partner, innovate the way we engage through the implementation of multi-channel customer engagement initiatives, and maintain strong business ethics, ensuring all activities are in accordance with local and company regulations.
The Position
In this role, you will drive the sales of the Novo Nordisk portfolio; partner with healthcare providers in primary care to enhance patient care by positioning Novo Nordisk as a preferred partner as well as innovate our customer engagement approach by implementing multi-channel initiatives, to ensure effective and comprehensive outreach to our stakeholders.
In more detail, you will:
- Identify, target, segment and build relationships with relevant primary care HCPs within diabetes, cardiovascular and obesity treatment; engage and detail to relevant customers; implement sales related brand plan activities/tactics
- In close collaboration with colleagues in the regional cross functional team identify needs, develop and implement local/regional activities according to regional plan; orchestrate and drive the development and execution of cross-functional account plans, defining win-win solutions with defined key accounts
- Update and maintain CRM system (IO Engage) with activities; delivering on ambitious field activity plans as well as implement multi-channel customer journey initiatives in the field
- Participate in and contribute effectively to accompanied work, e.g. district meetings, national conferences and cross-functional project groups for Novo Nordisk
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a team player at heart, with proven experience in driving sales and building lasting customer relationships together with strong communication and presentation skills. The ability to uncover and act on customer needs as well as analyse data and market trends to make informed business decisions is also crucial for the role.
In addition, you meet the below requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in key account management or sales within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Fluent in Danish and English.
- Business-oriented skills with a focus on achieving results.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and customer relationship management.
- Ability to identify and engage decision-makers and understand their business challenges.
About the Department
You will be part of our dynamic cross functional sales team based in the regions of Zealand and South Denmark as part of the Cardiometabolic Sales Department. Our team is dedicated to promoting and selling Novo Nordisk's products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public institutions.
