Enzyme Laboratory technician in Manufacturing Development at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S

Do you want to be part of a flourishing Manufacturing Development department within a rapidly expanding company? Are you familiar with working with enzymes, and do you have experience with biochemistry and chromatography?
If yes, then you might be the new enzyme laboratory technician we are looking for!
The position
Your key responsibility will be to work with downstream development of enzymes. You will play an essential role in planning your daily work, conducting and testing experiments in laboratory scale, and report in ELN (Electronic Laboratory Notebook).
You will work closely together with other laboratory technicians and scientists within the department, therefore evaluating and sharing your scientific work/learnings will also be an important part of your role.
Qualifications
You must be educated as a laboratory technician, preferably with +5 years of experience working in a laboratory setting, with a focus on enzyme research.
It would be ideal if you have:
- Knowledge of a wide range of laboratory equipment used in enzyme research.
- Knowledge of enzyme assays and techniques, e.g. (U)HPLC and LabChip.
- Experience with automated protein purification systems, such as ÄKTA systems.
- Experience with protein purification and characterization, including chromatography techniques.
- Analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation, including the use of statistical software and other tools for processing and visualizing data.
- An interest in mass spectrometry and RAMAN would be an advantage.
As a person, we imagine that you are a proactive team player, with flair for equipment and creative solutions in connection with laboratory experiments. You have good attention to detail and are conscious of working safe in the laboratory.
With a 'can do' attitude, you are able to cope with changes and embrace learnings.
About the department
The Manufacturing Development department at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech in Køge comprises 36 dedicated employees across three teams. As a laboratory technician, you will be part of a team of 8 laboratory technicians and scientists, focusing on developing and supplying novel materials for therapeutic protein manufacturing in the biopharmaceutical industry.
