The position
As an Environmental Partner to a brown field project, you have the following responsibilities:
- Set direction for and drive our daily processes within the environment, e.g., establish permits and collaborate with relevant authorities, waste handling, wastewater handling, managing CO2 emissions, protection and monitoring of soil and ground water, energy, and water consumption
- Establish an economic and sustainability assessment to improve circularity throughout the project
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project members and specialists across the project organisation to ensure effective and efficient execution of tasks within Environment
- As part of your daily routine, you will also support the other areas in the project by attending workshops and relevant meetings to ensure environmental aspects are raised, and having daily dialogues with various stakeholders and partners to establish professional relationships quickly and effectively
- Proficiency in aligning and raising environmental issues within a complex project involving multiple stakeholders and areas, while in parallel ensuring that the project aligns with NNPR’s sustainability strategy.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- Minimum relevant master’s degree within environmental engineering, environmental science and legislation, sustainability or similar
- Full working proficiency in both Danish and English, both orally and written
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with environmental work, ideally from pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production and laboratory environment.
- Prior experience of working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

About the department
You will join the Sustainability Partnering department at NNPR, collaborating with two teams: the Environment team and the Health & Safety team, alongside professional managers within the project portfolio and Sustainability. Focusing specifically on the Environment team, we are a dedicated group of 9 employees who work diligently to support NNPR. We place a strong emphasis on fostering a diverse and inclusive mindset, while also prioritizing a fun and inquisitive working environment.
