The position
Your role will involve effectively leading the construction and work permit activities by collaborating with our area responsible leads, maintenance group, project managers, engineers, and the numerous construction subcontractors on site.
Your tasks will include:
- Daily operations: Review, release and closure of work permits. Adhering to health, safety, fire and environmental requirements across the site and focusing on safeguarding the well-being of employees and maintaining occupational safety standards.
- Integration and coordination: You will embed safety into site operations, developing and aligning the NNPR Work Permit and construction procedures through collaboration with Work Package Owners, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Plan and lead coordination meetings and offer guidance on construction activities to project leads, assisting in the planning and implementation of their activities.
- Safety and Compliance: Upholding NNPR’s quality system for site construction management, standards, methods and ensuring consistent excellence, through safety inspections and H&S verification and safety process confirmation.
Location and hours
The position is based at Københavnsvej, Køge, where we have both research and production activities. You will be working between 06:00-14:00, as your working hours will reflect the construction and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- Minimum relevant bachelor’s degree within e.g. process safety and engineering, health & safety science and legislation or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Health and Safety work as a work environment coordinator at construction sites
- That you are certified within Occupational Health and Safety (AMK-B)
- Full working proficiency in both Danish and English, both orally and written
- That you can work both independently and within teams, as we support various stakeholders both internally and externally
Knowledge and hands-on experience with NN Permit Vision is a plus, but not a requirement.

Furthermore, you have experience in communication and training that allows you to translate complex subjects in a simple way to a diverse group of people. You have a qualitative and analytical mindset giving you a proactive, structured, and systematic approach to tasks. About the department
You will join the Sustainability Partnering department at NNPR, collaborating with two teams: the Environment team and the Health & Safety team, alongside professional managers within the project portfolio and Sustainability. Focusing specifically on the Health and Safety team, we are a dedicated group of 12 employees who work diligently to support NNPR.
