This is a newly established role with a lot of freedom to shape your work and make a real difference in the organization. As the Commercial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the sales organization with insights and establishing a foundation of usable data by structuring various data sources.
The position
Specifically, you will be:
- Developing and implementing processes and tools to collect, analyze, and report on sales data
- Providing insights and recommendations to sales leadership to improve commercial performance
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, and product management teams to understand business needs and data requirements
- Identifying opportunities to improve data quality and integrity, and implementing solutions to address issues
- Managing sales reporting, Salesforce and opportunity data and dashboards to ensure that key metrics are tracked and communicated effectively
- Conducting ad hoc analyses and reporting to support business decisions
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with years of experience in passionately using data to drive business decisions and improve commercial performance. You should have a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You should be able to work independently and proactively identifying areas for improvement in data collection and analysis. Moreover, we imagine you have:
- Several years of experience with sales operations, business analytics, and commercial management
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Experience with sales data management tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Master’s degree in business, analytics, or related field
