The position
You will be leading the Production Support team at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S. The team consists of 15-20 highly skilled professionals and technicians responsible for production processes or equipment. The team plays an instrumental role in ensuring, that our production facilities operate in a validated state. 

Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S will be introducing new products and equipment in the years to come increasing the need for stable and effective processes. As a result of this, the Production Support team also plays an important role in implementing strategic projects and general optimisations.


You will coach and inspire the team in the continuous improvement and simplification of processes through the introduction of new technology and application of LEAN tools.


You will be part of the management team in the Manufacturing part of Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S. We all have different backgrounds and responsibilities, but we all have in common that we want to support and help each other to succeed while having a good time.


We are looking for an associate manager who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably within natural sciences, engineering, pharmacy or similar.
  • Possesses great people management skills and +2 years of proven track record of achieving results as a people manager. 
  • Has strong proficiency in English both in writing and in speech. Spoken Danish is an advantage.

Additionally, the ideal candidate:

  • Has GMP and LEAN knowledge.
  • Makes data-driven decisions and has experience with Sigma.
  • Enjoys working with people to engage and inspire them to achieve results.
  • Brings a good sense of humour to work even when pressure is on.
  • Thrives in a changing and dynamic environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need great communication and cooperation skills, as you will be in close dialogue with various stakeholders such as e.g. production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. You will need to set direction, motivate and cultivate high performance and engagement through team empowerment.

Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S is a fully owned subsidiary of Novo Nordisk A/S situated in Køge. Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S is a leading global supplier of high-quality ingredients for the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industries, supplying products such as recombinant insulin for cell growth media and pharmaceutical grade quaternary ammonium compounds as well as raw materials for Novo Nordisk A/S.


The Production Support team is part of Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S manufacturing organisation which consists of app. 75 employees in 6 teams. The Manufacturing organisation is responsible for production and warehousing, in addition to technical and process support. In the position as Support Manager, you are required to work closely together with your management colleagues.
