Join our team as a Rare Disease Product Specialist for the Southern region and use your expertise to improve access and outcomes for patients living with rare diseases.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for promoting Novo Nordisk’s product portfolio in both public and private sector in the southern region & engaging the healthcare providers to drive the awareness, education & adoption of our innovative rare disease products.
Your will also:
- Contribute to the national business plan by achieving targets through the implementation of marketing and promotion strategies aimed at effectively presenting and promoting Novo Nordisk product(s) to healthcare practitioners
- Take an entrepreneurial approach and you will be expected to operate with a high level of ownership
- Demonstrate a high level of understanding of customer needs
- Anticipate and adapt action plans to maximize opportunities and address challenges excelling in making things happen through diligent and timely follow-up
- Work across different external stakeholders including but not limited to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), physicians, pharmacists, and hospital management.

Rare Disease business unit in Saudi consists of highly motivated, energetic, and focused team who is passionate about providing a better quality of life to patients. Rare Disease Portfolio is divided into the Rare Endocrine Disorders and the Rare Bleeding Disorders. We aspire to launch innovative medications for patients who live with Haemophilia in the future. Your skills & qualifications
We expect you to be holding a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and you are certified to work.
You also have:
- 0-2 years of experience in sales within international pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience in public sector is an advantage.
- Saudi nationality.
- Intermediate computer skills are required (Windows, Word, and Excel); prior computer experience using sales data/call reporting software will be ideal.
As a professional, you are a proactive self-starter, able to independently evaluate options and find resolutions with minimal supervision. Your aptitude for learning allows you to effectively communicate complex technical, scientific, and disease management information, along with the product's value proposition.
