Your new role
As Public Affairs Manager, you will develop and implement public affairs strategies that strengthen market access, build meaningful partnerships and protect Novo Nordisk’s reputation in Indonesia. Reporting to the Market Access & Public Affairs Director, you will play a central role in shaping the obesity and diabetes care environment across the country.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Map public and private policy-makers, payers and other key stakeholders to inform a clear engagement strategy
  • Building strategic partnerships on disease awareness, capacity building, access to care and improving obesity and diabetes care
  • Drive evidence generation through focus group discussions, epidemiology studies and health economics evaluations
  • Monitoring, shaping and responding to local policies and regulations that affect market access and broader business interests
  • Enhancing and protecting Novo Nordisk's reputation with relevant external stakeholders
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure public affairs activities are aligned with commercial priorities and patient access goals

Your new department
You will join the Market Access & Public Affairs (MAPA) department in Jakarta, a team of experts across Health Economics, Patient Outcomes, Market Access, Public Affairs and Communications. Operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, MAPA works to unlock access, shape policy, engage stakeholders and safeguard reimbursement for Novo Nordisk products at regional and national levels, ultimately improving patient access across Indonesia.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a high-performing professional who is energised by complex issues and able to bring others along. You will likely bring:

  • A relevant academic degree, preferably a master's in Public Health or Business
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare and reimbursement system, with solid experience in pharmaceutical public affairs or government affairs
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional team
  • Proven experience building relationships with healthcare decision-makers and delivering business objectives across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into persuasive narratives for senior decision-makers and turn insights into tactical action
