As Project Manager, you will turn agreed priorities into projects that are delivered on time and make a visible difference. You will plan and run projects from first plan to final result, bring the right stakeholders in early and keep decisions moving across functions. By understanding what stakeholders need and connecting it with Novo’s strategy, you will help create progress that benefits both Novo and society – and share what works so the next project starts stronger. This is a contract hiring for about 6 months period.

 

What you’ll bring

You know how to take a project from plan to result, and you are at your best when you bring people together around a shared goal. You will bring:

  • A relevant academic qualification, preferably a master's in Public Health, business or related field
  • Proven experience in managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, risk assessment, implementation, to close-out and handover, At least 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working on healthcare or health-related projects, or within NGOs or similar organizations, is mandatory.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including building relationships with key stakeholders and opinion leaders and gaining their support for shared goals.
  • A solid understanding of how cross-functional organisations work, including governance structures and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present strategy and tactics in a compelling way and choose the right channel for each audience.
  • A structured, outcome-focused way of working and the drive to improve processes as you go.

 

Useful, but not essential:

  • Experience from market access, public affairs or another healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
  • A formal project management qualification.

 

What you’ll do

Your core purpose is to plan and deliver projects on time, based on identified and agreed deliverables. You will:

  • Develop project plans that translate agreed deliverables and objectives into clear priorities, milestones and ownership.
  • Execute plans in the most effective way, optimising processes and improving outcomes along the way.
  • Build a comprehensive risk grid, define mitigation actions and speak up early when things are stalling.
  • Anticipate and assess the needs of stakeholders and opinion leaders, and shape tailored approaches that fit Novo’s strategy.
  • Build strategic networks with key stakeholders, involving them in exploring options that benefit both parties and support decisions that benefit Novo and society.
  • Close projects with clear organisational impact, identify next steps and share results and learnings with relevant stakeholders.

 

Who you’ll work with

You will join Market Access Public Affairs team in Indonesia, where colleagues connect commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across therapy areas, helping guide the Novo portfolio and strengthen competitiveness. You will be reporting to Associate Director, Market Access & Public Affairs.

Your work sits at the meeting point of internal functions and external stakeholders. Internally, you will work closely with colleagues across key functions, understanding their roles and aligning on deliverables. Externally, you will build relationships with stakeholders and opinion leaders, using the communication channels that work best for each of them. These relationships create the clarity and alignment that keep projects moving at pace.
