Your new role

As Health Equity Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that Novo Nordisk's medicines reach the people who need them most. You'll drive the development and implementation of health equity initiatives that make a real difference to underserved populations across Indonesia, working at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and on-the-ground impact.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Shaping the affiliate health equity vision, values and objectives, as well as ensuring a collective affiliate health equity narrative
  • Overseeing project management and financial aspects including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring and evaluation of health equity initiatives
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the health equity team, ensuring effective use of resources and alignment with overall long-term strategy
  • Demonstrating value and impact by measuring and reporting on outcomes and benefits of health equity initiatives (quarterly and annually)
  • Collaborating closely with Global, International Operations, and Region colleagues on strategy alignment, while building strong partnerships with external stakeholders including healthcare providers and public officials

 

Your new department

Novo Nordisk Indonesia is dedicated to addressing public health challenges and enhancing the quality of life for patients. As part of our Market Access & Public Affairs team, you will report to the Market Access & Public Affairs Associate Director. This team is dedicated to ensuring that our innovative treatments are accessible to patients who need them, working with healthcare systems, payers, and policymakers. As Health Equity Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our health equity ambitions are integrated into everything we do, championing initiatives that break down barriers to care.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for health equity and proven ability to drive change in complex stakeholder environments. You'll bring with you:

 

  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as public health, health economics, health policy, or related disciplines
  • 5 years of experience in developing and managing health equity or public health initiatives in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, with demonstrated project management ability
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence and build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex health equity concepts and demonstrate impact to internal and external audiences
  • Strategic mindset with ability to understand functional and business plans, identifying opportunities for health equity integration across business activities
