Key responsibilities
1. Marketing
• Develop marketing strategies and tactics to overcome market challenges and capitalize on market opportunities
• Identify opportunities through market research and a deep understanding of the environment, trends and policies
• Implement, monitor and assist PMs to formulate and execute marketing & promotion plans based on market and customer insights
• Build technical knowledge of marketing team through field observations and training
• Develop and maintain market intelligence databases
• Develop, implement and validate long range planning and forecasting models for brand budget, ensuring accuracy and optimal allocation
• Support annual forecasting processes (AB, RE2) with data-driven insights
• Ensure all business and promotional activities comply with ethics and compliance requirements, and company policies and SOPs
• Build, develop and maintain good relationships with KOLs, government authorities, pharmaceutical experts, academic KOLs, local policy makers and key accounts to drive partnerships in key projects
• Build systematic and strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders, cascade strategic plans and ensure follow-up on tactical functional plans, promote and engage in cross-functional and cross-geographical collaborations and best practice sharing
• Design and deliver both branded and unbranded communication to meet diverse marketing objectives
• Ensure campaigns are compliant with regulatory requirements and align with company values.
• Lead external communications through multi-channel engagement e.g. website, digital tools, press releases and NNHK social media channel
• Develop multichannel approach on communications with emphasis on building digital and social media
2. Leadership & Team development
• Develop and lead the team through performance management, coaching and continuous training to upskill and build competencies
• Work according to business ethics procedures, local law, NNWay and NN policies and guidelines
• Contribute to affiliate leadership as member of management team
• Lead sales force training on product knowledge, ensuring sales teams are up to date on latest developments
3. Business development
- Drive development of Macau business through holding direct responsibility of 1 rep from distributor
- Drive development of retail, aesthetic & e-health segments in the obesity space with responsibility of 0.5 Trade rep from distributor
4. Sales force effectiveness & Business intelligence
- Drive data driven decision making in affiliate through development and roll out of appropriate tools and processes (dashboards, CRM system, etc.)
- Improve sales force effectiveness through setting proper KPIs and incentives and monitoring performance
Qualifications:
- Minimum master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fluency in both written & spoken English. Mandarin/ Cantonese not required, but nice to have
- 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial operations, including marketing, sales, commercial effectiveness
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in commercial functions
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience with proven success track record
- Consumer healthcare marketing experience highly desirable
