The position
• Analyze market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth with a focus on mid- and long-term strategies;
Optimize the use of all promotional resources and manage the spending of the promotional expenses effectively;
Identify and exploit new marketing opportunities, analyze the performance, keep track progress and adapt strategies based on insights.
• Enhance brand visibility for Novo Nordisk in the cardio-metabolic market by building relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and industry associations in Hong Kong and Macau.
• Establish a strategic position for the product portfolio, strive for enhancing brand awareness and maintain market leadership.
• Collaborate with medical, market access, communication, and commercial teams to implement the cardio-metabolic strategy aligned with the patient journey.
• Coordinate with global and regional teams to develop effective tactics based on stakeholder needs and maximize ROI.
• Develop educational initiatives and digital projects, shape the launch strategy for the once-weekly cardio-metabolic portfolio, and define core messaging and brand positioning.
• Implement strategic plans, market segmentation, and competitor analysis to ensure KPIs align with organizational goals.
• Provide regular training and coaching to the sales team to ensure effective delivery of marketing messages and use of promotional resources.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in life science, business administration, marketing or related discipline; Advanced Marketing or Business qualification is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years' of relevant commercial experience within marketing and sales in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in multinational pharmaceutical corporations.
• Familiar with the trends and dynamics of HK local market.
• Exceptional communicational and interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong networking skills to create win - win solutions with solid negotiation tactics.
• Demonstrates winning culture & adaptability to work in a fast-pacing, dynamic working environment and meeting tight deadlines.
• Agile mindset to develop new strategies for business grow and to advocate innovative ideas from concept to delivery.
• Fluency in both written & spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Associate Manager.
