About the department

You will be part of the Finance & Operations team, which is accountable for driving finance, procurement, supply chain, and IT strategies and ensuring effective execution at an operational level across the affiliate. You will report directly to the Director of Finance & Operations.
 
The position
In this role, you will oversee demand planning, collaborating with Business Units and Finance to establish a sales forecast at the material level. You will also work with the Supply Chain COE on supply planning and inventory management. Additionally, you will focus on business support, reporting, compliance, and continuously improving Supply Chain performance. The main scope of accountabilities includes, but is not limited to:

  • Demand Planning: Establishing sales forecast at material level including work on statistical baseline, analytics, and market trends. Driving and coordinating the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) review process with relevant stakeholders and ensure the Operational Master Plan (OMP) is up to date and of the highest possible accuracy. Ensuring timely collaboration for launches of new products or others.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborating with the Supply Chain Centre of Excellence to ensure product availability and optimize stock levels to prevent stock shortages, ensuring sufficient local supply to all customers, and meeting mandatory safety stock requirements. Managing stock expiration and minimizing waste, especially for launch orders, high-value items, and slow-moving products.
  • Importation and Warehouse Management: Ensuring correct customs clearance documents and work with third party vendor for a smooth importation process. Overseeing warehouse’s inbound and outbound activities; reviewing and revising Standard operating procedure (SOP) on warehouse operations.  
  • Customer service & logistics: Relationship management and operations of distributor, warehouse partner, and customs clearance vendor with well-defined service level and optimum cost. 
  • Business support: Act as the first point of contact for key stakeholders regarding Demand & Supply Planning activities within the affiliate. Drive and/or participate in relevant projects, task forces, etc. and collaborate with Business Area and Regional Office on Supply Chain matters. Ensure that documentation related to Supply Chain is created, stored, and compliant with the Supply Chain process and global deadlines.

 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience within supply chain management and/or similar. Experience in working in cross-cultural teams and cross-organisational stakeholder management.
  • Successful track record in negotiating and setting up commercial relationships. Experience and deep knowledge in business planning and performance monitoring processes as well as the market dynamics and key stakeholders.
  • Vietnamese proficiency with good communication in English in both written and spoken. 
  • Quality-oriented mindset, with a focus on meeting customer needs. Strong communication skills are a must.
