The Supply Chain CoE organisation supports the business through conducting planning and supply chain activities ensuring that there is sufficient product to meet patient’s needs. The Supply Chain CoE Professional is a key member of the Novo Nordisk Supply Chain CoE team based in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, which supports 17 affiliates (markets) across the Region APAC and will report directly to the Supply Chain CoE Lead.
The position
In this role, you will be accountable in ensuring Novo Nordisk product availability to patients across country with uninterrupted, efficient and compliant supply in coordination with stakeholders. The nature of your work will be 80% operational and 20% strategic. The main scope of accountabilities includes but is not limited to:
- Operationally, you will be involved in daily activities relevant to forecast analysis & product replenishment planning, inventory management, Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) Operations, customer service & logistics, business support, and reporting and compliance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders in Finance & Operation, Regulatory, Quality, Commercial, as well as with external stakeholders such as third-party logistic providers (3PLs), customers (Distributors, wholesalers).
- Strategically, you are expected to act as the key subject matter expert regarding process improvement initiatives to improve Supply Chain performance. You will develop standards around which others will operate, drive sharing of best practices, streamline inefficient practices, and teach and train colleagues on process improvements, tools, and systems. You will work closely with relevant teams to develop effective technology solutions, system configuration and training materials that meet the requirements of the strategic goals and objectives, among other strategic tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 year’s work experience in supply chain management. Work experience in pharma industry will add an advantage.
- Profound operational & business acumen of supply chain collaboration in cross-cultural teams and cross-organisational stakeholder management.
- Vietnamese native speaking with good communication in English.
- Microsoft office proficiency and SAP knowledge will be a plus.
