About the department
The Quality Assurance Manager will be part of the Legal, Compliance, and Quality department in Vietnam. Our team is focused on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the highest quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry. We work collaboratively to drive continuous improvement and make a positive impact on patient lives. This role will report to Legal, Compliance and Quality Director and dotted line to Senior Manager of Quality Assurance.

 

The position
As a Quality Assurance Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) standards in Vietnam, KLM (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar) and LKMV (Sri Lanka, Maldives) Affiliates. This includes training new employees, collaborating with departments to enhance QMS, and advising on QMS compliance to ensure product quality and address business-critical issues.
  • Working with audits and inspections, acting as the main quality representative during internal audits, updating inspection registers, and conducting audits for external vendors.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining quality agreements with vendors, managing document control, and monitoring and approving the implementation of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Managing non-conformities, deviations, and potential recalls. Serving as the local expert on deviation handling systems and overseeing recall procedures.
  • Acting as the Quality Management Representative for Quality Issues in Vietnam, KLM, and LKMV.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or any science-related field. A licensed pharmacist and/or lead auditor certification is a plus.
  • With 5-7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in quality assurance, control, systems, and audits.
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a global context.
  • Possessing comprehensive knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems, along with a thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in stakeholder and change management, with strong communication and cooperation skills. Adaptable, open to learning, driven, independent, and committed to high performance, while maintaining a high level of integrity.
