About the department
The Clinical, Medical and Regulatory department is at the heart of Novo Nordisk's mission to drive scientific communication and collaboration. Our team is responsible for establishing and executing scientific communication strategies across clinical trial phases, integrating patient voices, and building strategic relationships with International Professional Associations. Based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we work together to provide medical guidance and education to healthcare professionals globally.

 


The position

As our Medical Manager/Medical Advisor, you will join the medical affairs  team in Vietnam and will hold a shared responsibility for the creation and appliance of medical strategies aligned to the overall Vietnam affiliate objectives and Novo Nordisk ways.  As an integral part of the organization, your nature and scope of main accountabilities includes but not limited to:
•    Establish the Medical Strategy plan for Diabetes align with Business need. Lead the execution of scientific and medical educational activities, ensure guidance and training on product use, and maintain compliance with ethical and quality standards.
•    Collaborate with field medical colleagues for medical affairs activities in the obesity therapy area.
•    Oversee the medical affairs obesity agenda, executing obesity medical strategies in line with both internal and external objectives.
•    Develop and execute MA strategies based on patient needs, lead evidence generation, and drive scientific dialogue and publication strategies.
•    Collaborate across teams and with healthcare systems to improve patient outcomes, ensuring compliance and internal regulatory standards.

 
Qualifications
•    Medical Doctor is required. 
•    Minimum 5 years in medical affairs or related in the pharmaceutical/healthcare or related industry. People management experience / Medical project experience will be an advantage for this position.
•    Vietnamese native speaking with good English communication.
