About the department
The Clinical, Medical and Regulatory department is at the heart of Novo Nordisk's mission to drive scientific communication and collaboration. Our team is responsible for establishing and executing scientific communication strategies across clinical trial phases, integrating patient voices, and building strategic relationships with International Professional Associations. Based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we work together to provide medical guidance and education to healthcare professionals globally.

 

The position
In this role, you will provide clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to a team to achieve cross-functional goals and ensure the team executes against Novo Nordisk's strategy, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will represent the team internally within the affiliate and globally, as well as at external events, creating opportunities for the function. Additionally, you will initiate, foster, and maintain cross-functional communications and collaboration, ensuring a proper understanding of the roles and tasks.
As an integral part of the organization, your nature and scope of main accountabilities includes but not limited to:

  • Co-Development / design of field medical strategy and implementation of the action plan, including monitoring of relevant metrics. Also, on-field coaching and development of individual team members
  • Assist to execute KOL engagement; KOL identification & segmentation, development and tracking of Individual Engagement Plans
  • Identify needs, changes, and trends within the business environment to adapt and improve the product portfolio (medical insights).
  • Identification, development, and review of publications/content, speakers, and investigators, relevant to assigned product/portfolio or based on cross-functional need, suitable for scientific and non-scientific forums and suitable for internal and external customers.
  • Play a key role on ensuring the speakers’ presentation for sponsored meetings are under compliance and Business Ethics (BE) regulations.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare or related industry. People management experience / Medical project experience will be an advantage for this position.
  • Experience with field work facing HCPs is a must. Also, role would require 50-70% annual travel.
  • Vietnamese native speaking with good English communication.
