About the department
Nordisk Vietnam is a high-growth affiliate with an exciting growth trajectory and pipeline in new products and therapy areas in the coming years. In this role, you will be part of the People & Organisation (P&O) Team. We focus on developing strategies and policies that meet business needs, ensuring the successful implementation of business strategies, and guiding resourcing needs, career development, and succession planning.

 

The position

This role reports to the Director of People & Organization (P&O). You will support the P&O Director in managing internal and external learning activities. You will be in charge of planning, execution, documentation, reporting, cost calculation, and follow-up on learning activities to ensure competency development.

  • Training: Assist the P&O Director in developing learning strategies and core curriculum: Design training manuals and aids; Deliver and monitor the implementation of competency frameworks, ensuring timely completion; Identify common training needs and implement functional trainings; Additionally, promote the image of NN as a desirable employer and provide development support and advice to the Management team; Co-ordinating and co-facilitating Learning Programmes and IDP workshop; 
  • Development: Deliver, monitor the implementation of competency frameworks to ensure employee use it appropriately and complete it in the system on time.  
  • Identifying common training needs, designing and implementing (either as lead/ support) leadership & functional trainings for the success of the function & business; Providing development support and advice to MT’s (team building exercises with the regions) on People promotion, rotation and relocation proposal, develop proper assesment on the process; Prepare reports of Development activities related and responsible for projects assigned by direct manager
  • Competency Assessment: Contribute to the implementation of new competency frameworks for individual functions; Support in setting up CAT for individual functions in line with the respective competency frameworks; Support employees by facilitating self evaluation and manager evaluation in CAT; Support in preparing competency reports; Based on competency gap report, propose development initiatives and incorporate in yearly plan as appropriate
  • Induction/Onboarding: Assist in aligning the local induction/onboarding program in accordance with the guidelines; Identify and update induction program topics through discussions with Department Heads, particularly with Sales, Marketing & Medical teams for the relevant therapeutic areas; Organize and coordinate induction sessions/programs by managing all logistics and booking facilitators; Deliver segments of the induction program as an HR representative; Have full knowledge on all topics of induction program and be ready to present/facilitate in case of abasence of any facilitator; Prepare and maintain induction manuals and aids; Prepare tests through discussion with relevant facilitators; Prepare reports on post evaluations of induction
  • Talent Management: Collaborate with the director in developing and driving talent management and succession activities across the organization. Ensures talent attraction priorities align with business and talent needs and guidelines. Identifies, designs, and implements talent development initiatives focused on building pipelines across the organization. Establishes consistent processes for talent identification, nomination challenges, talent reviews, and follow-up/tracking of outcomes.
  • Implement HR policies and ensure compliance: Development and implementation of P&O policies in collaboration with line management; Ensure compliance with local labour law; Ensure P&O practices are competitive to the local market; Prepare reports and responsible for projects assigned by direct manager
  • As an HR Business Partner to Sales Department: Analysis, identification and understanding of the needs of the management team and Business Units regarding training and development aspects


Qualifications

  • Local citizenship will be required for the hospital visits for business activities (Vietnam only)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales training, development or similar roles in global MNCs
  • Also commercial experiences in sales, marketing and CE are highly preferred, especially in Global Multinational Corporations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Native Vietnamese speaker with good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
