The CMR department at Novo Nordisk is in charge for managing and building KOL engagement plans, translating global medical affairs and global regulatory strategies into operational targets, and implementing medical projects that assist the business. We work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business activities and compliance with regulatory requirements. As a CMR Director, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the medico-marketing strategy, provide aid for local business plans, and build relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

 

The position

As a CMR Director, you will oversee the affiliate’s CMR strategy (short, medium, and long term) and performance management. You will ensure representation of affiliate in regional and where relevant global boards/meetings and members of the Vietnam Management team.  
Your main duty includes, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and build Key opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement plans annually and translate global medical affairs and global regulatory strategies into affiliate operational targets. Aid in implementation of medical projects that help business in general.
  • Developing and maintaining relations with customers and KOLs and major institutions in the local health care sector; building local credibility personally and on behalf of Novo Nordisk.
  • Contributing to medico-marketing strategy and providing help for local business plans to promote the achievement of targets, alignment of cross-functional business activities while ensuring compliance with the country-specific regulatory requirements and relevant legislation. Also align affiliate Medical Affairs goals to Medical Scientific Liaisons (MSLs) priorities, ensuring clear medical communication objectives, needed materials, and trainings.
  • Planning, directing, and informing clinical study timelines. Gathering input from cross-functional teams and creating plans to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables. Ensuring consistency of clinical study processes across trials. Overseeing and resolving operational aspects of clinical trials in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and country-specific regulations. Monitoring progress and addressing issues with team members and line managers.
  • Implementing and preparing the clinical development strategy outlined by the clinical teams. Developing recruitment strategies for trial programs.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong medical background, good experience with pharmaceutical industry in addition to an entrepreneurship mindset is required.
  • More than 10 years of experiences in medical and clinical fields will be required. Medial/Clinical experiences in Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Obesity, Growth Hormone, endocrinology and Haemostasias areas will be added advantages.
  • Min. 2-3 years of people management experience will be highly preferred.
  • Experiences in translating clinical evidence into strategies for successful product development and launch preparation will be preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
