Your new role
As an Experienced Production Engineer, you will support our quality‑critical production processes and work closely with highly skilled colleagues across our manufacturing site. You will contribute to securing stable operations, ensuring audit readiness, and driving improvements in close collaboration with our Quality Assurance (QA) team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Handling quality and operational issues together with your team and QA colleagues to ensure stable, compliant production processes.
- Managing deviations and supporting change requests to maintain robust product quality and process performance.
- Ensuring audit and inspection readiness through proactive preparation and high-quality documentation.
- Maintaining and continuously improving quality processes and standards across the production area.
- Supporting optimisation initiatives through data insights, equipment understanding and cross-functional collaboration.
This is a 2‑year temporary position.
Your new department
You will join one of our Quality Control Support teams consisting of 12 dedicated and supportive colleagues. Together, we verify the quality of pen needle products produced at our in‑house facility and for our global needle supply chain.
The team is part of the Needle Manufacturing site in Hjørring, Denmark—home to approximately 350 employees across seven departments. We pride ourselves on a strong quality mindset, a collaborative team spirit and a shared commitment to supplying high‑quality products that make a difference for our patients.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring a structured and proactive approach to problem-solving and enjoy working in a fast‑paced production environment with shifting priorities. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and are motivated by driving improvements in cross‑functional settings.
We expect you to have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, medical device technology, natural sciences, or a similar technical background.
- Knowledge of production equipment, with a flair for IT systems and data analysis.
- Experience from a similar role is an advantage.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Danish.
