Join Novo Nordisk’s Needle Manufacturing & New Product Introduction (NMN) site in Hjørring and help ensure a safe, compliant and sustainable workplace for hundreds of colleagues.

 

Your new role

As Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Partner, you will act as the key EHS advisor for the NMN site in Hjørring and play a central role in ensuring compliance, continuous improvement and pragmatic implementation of EHS standards.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring site compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, including implementation of new EHS policies and development of existing procedures
  • Driving and supporting the site’s 2030 environmental strategy in close collaboration with stakeholders
  • Acting as the primary EHS advisor to the VP and site management, influencing operational decisions
  • Supporting and developing a strong working environment together with managers, employees and the HS supporter
  • Ensuring EHS requirements are implemented at the right level, balancing compliance with operational efficiency

 

You will be part of a broader EHS professional network, supporting interpretation and implementation of new legal and Novo Nordisk requirements.

 

Your new department

You will join the Business Support department, consisting of business partners and support functions across Quality, LEAN, Strategy and EHS. The department plays a key role in driving strategy and performance across the site.

 

NMN Hjørring is part of Needle Manufacturing & NPI, responsible for producing Novo Nordisk’s pen needles. The site employs approximately 350 employees across six departments and is characterised by a strong quality mindset, high ambitions and a collaborative, can-do culture – all in support of patients worldwide.

 

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, we expect that you:

  • Have solid knowledge of Danish health & safety legislation and experience with ISO 45001, as well as experience with or strong interest in environmental management and ISO 14001
  • Hold an educational background within Environment and/or Health & Safety, or have relevant experience from regulated, standards-driven industries
  • Are confident in challenging, clarifying and translating requirements into practical and fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills in both Danish and English
  • Take initiative and are able to drive improvements, inspire others and navigate an ambitious environment with deadlines

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651.000 kr. to  956,900.00 kr. (DK), corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
