The Position

As an Advanced Production Engineer, you will become part of the team that fosters a good understanding of production quality, good communication skills, and an understanding of “the power of teamwork”. Our workdays are filled with tasks that give us a chance to show how self-driven while working closely with highly skilled colleagues across the organization. 

Your main tasks will include:

  • Handle quality issues together with production operators, technicians, and Quality Assurance (QA) team.
  • Work with deviations to ensure product quality and change requests when we need to change our processes.
  • Ensure audit and inspection readiness.
  • Maintain and continuously improve our processes within the quality area. 

 

Qualifications

On a personal level, you are a fast learner, who can create changes, set direction and independently drive cross-functional work. Having a structured approach to problem-solving, the ability to collaborate with colleagues from different background and having amazing communication skills are key to succeed in this role.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s or a master’s degree in pharmacy, veterinary medicine, or engineering, or have a similar technical/natural science background.
  • Knowledge of equipment, a flair for IT and data analysis.
  • Experience in a similar position from a regulated industry, which is considered a plus.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Danish.

About the department

You will be part of one of our Assembly Support teams and have 8 close colleagues. We are responsible for supporting our assembly lines in terms of quality and equipment issues.

The team is part of the Needle Manufacturing site in Hjørring, Denmark which is organised in seven departments and with approximately 425 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
