The position

We want to strengthen our LEAN Leadership capabilities as part of our journey towards a robust production and build a team of problem solvers who can drive continuous improvement by driving, telling, teaching, and coaching our leaders and employees at the shopfloor. You will be taking up a position with a large variety of tasks, involving many stakeholders and processes across all levels of the organisation.


You will support departments in our value chain by:


  • Identifying bottle necks and optimisation potentials that can be realized
  • Driving systematic problem solving, shopfloor management and standardisation
  • Driving and supporting the performance management and policy deployment (Hoshin Kanri)
  • Teach, coach and practice lean methodology across our LEAN academy


About the department

In Hillerød, we produce top-quality injectable products for patient with diabetes worldwide. Due to being a worldwide supplier focus can quickly shift and then we need to do the necessary changes to meet demand for current and new products around the world.


The LEAN team is a part of the department Business Support in IFP Hillerød. LEAN is responsible for supporting the site with systems and initiatives that move the organisation forward and we also support the production with solving concrete problems at the line.


The LEAN & Training team consists of eight LEAN partners. With a LEAN approach, the team supports IFP Hillerød’s strategic aspirations to improve data-driven decision making and increase production stability and efficiency. As a LEAN partner, you will become a member of a highly ambitious and engaged team working on shaping and developing our continuous LEAN journey.



You hold an academic degree with a relevant subject matter (engineering, chemistry, production, or business) ideally supplemented with relevant LEAN experience from a comparable position or education.


Your toolbox is strong, and you bring experience from working on the shopfloor, where you have exercised proven leadership insights and sparring. You are comfortable in engaging and proactively advising stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Besides, we value your experience in implementing LEAN principles, systems, tools, and LEAN Leadership behaviours to all levels in the organization and bring practical experience in analysing data and trends.


Ideally you have experience from a production site, from the pharmaceutical industry or from the medical device, and can communicate in English and Danish, both verbally and in writing.  You are good at connecting with people at all levels of the organization and have an eye for stakeholder management. You have strong coaching skills and good at giving feedback. You possess strong analytical skills, persistent by nature and with a “can-do-attitude”. Preferably you have experience working independently on various task for longer periods.


Finally, you see opportunities rather than limitations and are able to meet different needs of the production.
