Warehouse Specialist

Category:  Procurement
Location:

Hillerød, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Help shape robust, compliant and future-ready warehouse facilities across one of the world’s most critical pharmaceutical supply chains.

Your new role

As our Warehouse Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that warehouse facilities, utilities and validated solutions are designed, operated and expanded in a way that supports both GMP requirements and efficient, sustainable daily operations. While inspection readiness is an important part of the role, your main contribution will be helping to shape facility and warehouse solutions that work well in practice.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues in operations, engineering and quality to develop and maintain warehouse setups that meet regulatory expectations without unnecessary complexity, and that support long-term operational excellence and capacity growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a key point of contact for warehouse facilities and technical topics, including HVAC, utilities, cleanroom environments and validated systems
  • Help define GMP-compliant facility solutions, balancing regulatory needs with operational efficiency and practical controls
  • Support validation approaches for warehouse facilities, equipment and utilities in close collaboration with engineering and quality teams
  • Advise on facility-related projects to ensure compliant, lean and sustainable warehouse solutions
  • Contribute to warehouse capacity expansion initiatives, supporting design, commissioning and integration of new facilities
  • Translate GMP requirements related to warehousing and material handling into practical, operational solutions
  • Support inspection readiness activities, including participation in audits and inspections and coaching teams when needed
  • Represent Sourcing Warehousing in cross-functional projects related to logistics, facility changes and operational improvements

Your new department

In External Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are thousands of colleagues across the globe, united by a shared responsibility to scale molecules, processes, devices and products — ensuring life‑saving medicines reach the patients who need them.

Within CMC & Product Supply, you will join Sourcing Warehousing in Sourcing Operations — a key function responsible for the compliant handling and storage of materials and products. The team ensures that materials are managed safely, reliably and in line with quality standards. As we continue to expand our capacity and capabilities, your contribution will help shape the future of our warehouse operations.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a specialist with solid experience from GMP-regulated facilities and warehouse environments. To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An MSc in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Biotech or another relevant discipline
  • Experience working with warehouse facilities, utilities, HVAC, cleanroom environments and/or validation in a GMP-regulated setting
  • A good understanding of GxP requirements related to warehousing, facilities and material handling
  • Background from pharmaceutical production, warehousing, engineering, quality or technical operations
  • The ability to turn regulatory requirements into practical and workable solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical, operational and quality functions
  • Fluency in written and spoken Danish and English
