The Position

Due to increasing demand for our services, Sourcing Warehousing is entering a period of expansion. As a Validation Responsible, you will be part of the Facility and Validation team, which comprises 13 dedicated employees handling tasks related to facility maintenance, environmental monitoring, and validation. You will collaborate closely with two other colleagues in similar roles.

 

Your primary responsibilities entail:

  • Ensuring compliance during the implementation of new equipment and facilities
  • Maintaining the validated state of existing equipment and facilities
  • Play a crucial role during inspections, where validation documentation is often requested
  • Ensuring the annual requalification of HVAC systems and safety cabinets in our cleanrooms, preparing protocols, coordinating with users, and managing external testers
  • Planning and designing in collaboration with suppliers, ensuring appropriate testing levels during FAT/SAT, and subsequent IV and OV

 

Furthermore, you are responsible for preparing and participating in inspections requests concerning validation in Sourcing Warehousing.

 

At Novo Nordisk A/S, validation activities are based on a risk-based approach: science- and risk-based validation. Our validation team strives to adopt a proactive approach to validation, making decisions based on data and risk analysis.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we imagine you:

  • Hold an academic background in engineering, mechanical engineering, pharmacy, or similar
  • Possess 5 years of experience with equipment/system validation, coupled with strong expertise in validation and qualification of technical equipment
  • Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Showcase proficiency in both spoken and written English and Danish

 

It would be considered as an advantage if you have experience with room and IT system validation, along with knowledge of temperature/humidity mapping and of using eTIMS.

 

On a personal level, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and capable of effectively working on your own. You have strong communication and collaboration skills, adeptly building relationships and thriving in a dynamic environment with various stakeholders. You are an extroverted, empathetic, and curious person with a positive personality, fostering team cooperation and inspiring those around you.

About the department

We are part of Product Supply, Sourcing Operations, who are responsible for the global inbound supply chain for packaging and raw materials to the production and clinical trials. Our department, Warehouse Expansion is newly established and focuses on expanding the existing warehouse in Hillerød to meet future demands.
