The Position
As a Senior Quality Engineer, the overall objective will be to develop and maintain the global quality specifications for packed products and secondary packaging materials in Novo Nordisk. These specifications are setting the requirements for all packaging lines and the quality level for our finished packed product.
Your tasks will be very varied and include supporting packaging lines across the world in interpretation or application of specifications and supporting sites during audits and inspections.
You will be responsible for:
• Quality Frame Specifications for Packed Products and Printed Packaging Materials.
• Frame Methods for the quality control of Printed Packaging Materials.
• Prepare and drive Change Requests, with deviation handling back-up.
• Back-up for Sec Pack Responsible - risk management and system engineering.
• Stakeholder Support and ad hoc Product Maintenance support.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you should hold:
• An academic degree (A bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or a PhD).
• At least 5 years’ experience in writing specifications, rationales, SOPs, or other documentation.
• Experience within pharma, which is preferred.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

An exceptional eye for detail, combined with the ability to see the bigger picture and develop thoughtful solutions, is highly valued. You are a team player, have a proactive approach, and forge strong partnerships with stakeholders.
Navigating global stakeholder interests requires outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build alignment and deliver results. Motivation, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and the capability to mentor junior engineers are key traits that will help you excel.
About the Department
You will join the SecPack Maintenance team, part of the Packaging VP area in Finished Products MSAT (FPMSAT) supporting packaging of Novo Nordisk finished products, primarily pen injectors and tablets.
In SecPack our main task is to safeguard, optimize product OEE performance and maintain the secondary packaging for our medical devices and combination products marketed by Novo Nordisk.
In FPMSAT are we bridging product development to production and driving development and standardisation of new, smarter packaging processes. Furthermore, we are responsible for establishing packaging capacity worldwide for new and marketed products in compliance with current regulatory requirements and in close interaction with the Novo Nordisk global production sites. We have an end-to-end presence from device development to production implementation and support to running production.
FPMSAT Packaging department is situated in Hillerød and consists of around 100 employees divided into different teams.
