The position
As a Senior Quality Professional, you will be responsible for supporting our development projects with setting direction for quality in terms of internal and external requirements. More specifically, you are expected to lead tasks such as:

•    Supporting the projects in making the right approach to quality
•    Reviewing and approving Design Control documents. 
•    Finding the best way of achieving both quality and other project objectives and setting a clear direction
•    Being the QA partner for device development projects within Diabetes, Obesity, or other newer therapeutic areas. 
•    Collaborating with many different stakeholders both internally in Novo Nordisk, and with development partners in which case you ensure quality oversight of our international partners. 
•    Being part of the development process from early innovation until launch. 

 

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you need to have:
•    An education within engineering, pharmaceutical, science (e.g., microbiology or biochemistry), or other relevant academic fields
•    A proven track record in interpreting regulatory requirements, ideally well-versed in: MDR, 21CFR820, ISO13485 and ISO14971 
•    Hands-on work experience within QA and/or Medical Devices 
•    Ability to constructively engage your stakeholders and navigate in cross organisational stakeholder landscapes
•    Written and verbal communication skills in English

About the department
DDS Quality is responsible for covering all quality aspects in the Device and Delivery Solutions portfolio, which includes mechanical devices for drug device combination products, devices integrated with electronics and software, Software as a Medical Device and Primary Packaging. Additionally, our remit encompasses Quality Management System processes, supervising the quality standards of our suppliers, and conducting audits and inspections.

We are an international team of almost 40 passionate experts in the realm of Quality Assurance, hailing from varied backgrounds. While the majority are in Hillerød, Denmark, there are 4 experts operating from a Device R&D satellite situated in Seattle, Boston and Fremont, USA.
