Senior Project Manager with Medical Device Experience (Temporary Position)

Do you want to lead complex, high-impact development projects in a global pharmaceutical environment? As a Senior Project Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will drive project strategy, collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the value chain, and ensure successful delivery of product development and life cycle management initiatives.
Your new role
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading medium- to high-complexity projects within product development and LCM, ensuring quality, cost and timely delivery while applying a strong portfolio mindset.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading and driving end-to-end project management across product development and LCM activities, including scope, quality, risk and timeline
- Setting project direction, scenario planning and decision-making across CVP areas to secure successful execution
- Managing and engaging internal and external stakeholders, including external development partners, to ensure alignment and commitment
- Coaching and supporting project team members while fostering cross-functional collaboration and effective communication
- Ensuring escalation, risk mitigation and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle
Your new department
You will be part of a global project environment working across functions such as Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, CMC, Supply, IT and external partners. The role operates with a broad global reach, requiring collaboration across regions and cultures to deliver impactful development outcomes.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring strong project leadership capabilities combined with solid experience in complex development settings. We expect that you have:
- A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, supported by formal project management training
- At least 6 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years leading complex or global projects
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Experience working with portfolio mindsets, scenario planning and decision-making in complex environments
- Fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to work effectively across cultures
