The Position

As Senior Project Manager, you will be driving the development and deployment of the future project execution strategy across the whole Product Supply Quality and IT unit, which is composed of 5 areas and 17 sites.

Some of your main activities include:

  • Participating in establishing our new Project/Program COE, developing the project execution capability, methods, and training project managers
  • Ensuring clear communication about the strategic direction and securing buy in from our many stakeholders
  • Guaranteeing that projects initiated follow the project operating model for the area
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and peer project managers to drive improvements and lean project execution
  • Continuously optimizing the overall governance framework, ensuring a clear definition of the roles and responsibilities between Steering Group, Portfolio Group, Project Owner, Program Manager, and the project group

Your role also involves promoting knowledge sharing and ensure training throughout the project organization and fostering best practices that impact the development of our project operating model.

 

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we imagine you:

  • Hold a degree in business, engineering, or any other relevant field
  • Demonstrate experience with Project Management, Program Management, and driving strategic investment projects in a global stakeholder landscape
  • Showcase adept change management and innovation abilities
  • Possess strong presentations skills, especially at Management and Sr. Management level
  • Display fluency in both written and spoken English

As a person, you possess the ability to see the greater picture in a complex and dynamic environment where changes in priorities, projects, and timing can occur. You have a clear understanding of what it means to boost value creation through innovation and know how to leverage your business acumen on the journey. You enjoy finding pragmatic ways to solve challenges and co-creating sustainable solutions with stakeholders across the organization. Last but not least, your excellent communication skills allow you to obtain strong partnerships.

 

About the Department

Packaging is a large department within DMD. DMD is responsible for the industrialisation of all medical devices at Novo Nordisk. We are an end-to-end corporate organisation developing products for high volume production, establishing control strategy of the products, improving, and implementing the production equipment at the production sites in different parts of the world. Finally, it is our ambition to drive change by discovering and putting in practice novel digital solutions to our processes.
