The Position

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead a professional project team of aprox. 30 project team members to deliver against a high impact equipment installation project within a new plastic component production facility. Your project will play a key role in expanding our global supply of FlexTouch® devices, supporting patients within our Diabetes and Obesity areas.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Strategic project planning and execution, including creation and development of complex project plans, as well as monitoring and controlling the execution of equipment delivery
  • Collaborating closely with our partner's site management, to establish appropriate project governance, reporting project performance to c-level stakeholders, and performing integrated change management
  • Ensuring close cooperation with other Novo Nordisk functions such as Strategic Sourcing, Investment & Engineering Sourcing, Corporate Tax, and Development Manufacturing Development (DMD)
  • Guaranteeing compliance with Novo Nordisk's Quality Management System and Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) Environmental, Health, and Safety Management systems
  • Securing the initial operation and removing barriers to ensure the factory's timely completion and ramp-up

 

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:

  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Engineering or in a related field  
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the operational delivery of large-scale multinational projects (Capex Investments) associated with production and manufacturing or production management
  • Experience in production operations and associated equipment, outsourcing/establishment of production setups through external suppliers
  • Knowledge of GMP quality processes obtained within a regulated production environment (pharmaceutical, medical devices, food, dairy…)
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English

It would be considered as a plus if you have a Certification in Project Management such as PMP or Prince2.

As a person you possess a high level of flexibility, adaptability, and resilience, persistently overcoming obstacles. You confidently interact at c-suite level and your communication skills enable you to convey complex matters with ease. You excel in cross-functional and international collaboration, able to inspire and engage project team members, to deliver results. With a business-driven focus, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, you are well-prepared to excel as a Senior Project Manager.

 

About the department

The Project Management Office is a department in DMS that aims to be the Centre of Excellence in Project Management. Our key focus includes not only the improvement of Project Management systems and processes but also the planning and execution of complex and strategic projects. You will be joining a team of 15.
