In Technical Support, Aseptic Filling Lines in AM Hillerød, we balance the dual responsibility of providing fast, high level specialist support to keep the daily operations of our aseptic filling lines (24/7 production) running seamlessly a as well as being responsible for matur-ing and executing a portfolio of mid- and long-term equipment upgrades and improvement projects securing the long-term performance. 

 

Technical Support is a very international and diverse team of >20 highly talented and ambitious colleagues working together for the joint success of our area.  

 

The Position
As a Senior Production Engineer, you will assume the role of equipment responsible for your part of our advanced aseptic filling lines. This will include ongoing support and troubleshooting to the daily operations (incl. handling deviations, CR cases and implementing preventive measures) as well as leading mid- and long-term performance stabilization and optimization activities and projects. We work collaboratively with skilled workers, other support teams and QA to ensure the stability of the organization's production equipment.
 
Your responsibilities will be:

  • Equipment responsibility for one or more modules in the aseptic filling lines. 
  • Ensuring optimal performance of the production equipment through preventive measures and performing detailed documentation work. 
  • Contribute to our ambitions ramp-up journey, which will significantly increase our production output via continuous improvements and line upgrading projects. 
  • Ensuring a consistent flow in calibration and systematic problem-solving.
  • Contributing to the working instructions and supervision of skilled workers to enhance their performance within tolerances, fine adjustments driving optimal lines operations.
  • As a Sr. engineer you will actively contribute to the development and professionalism of our competences in general and the growth of your younger colleagues.
     

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:

 

  • At least Bachelor (preferably Master’s) degree in mechanical engineering or similar field
  • 5-7 years of experience in engineering, including 3 years proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, aseptic production, or another GMP / highly regulated environment 
  • Understanding how mechanical adjustments, alignments, dimensioning, and tolerances can influence our manufacturing flow, especially on automation systems (automated servo transport etc.) and mastering the use of these levers to improve performance
  • Good knowledge of PLC, Scada, SAP system, data analysis and systematic problem solving e.g. using LEAN tools
  • Fluency in English, with willingness to learn Danish or knowledge of Danish

About the department
The department is part of the filling factory Aseptic Manufacturing (AP) in Hillerød, which recently started launching first pen fill to support our diabetics journey at Novo Nordisk.

You will become part of the Filling & Inspection department, consisting of more than 100 engaged colleagues, both skilled workers and supporters who all work closely together across professional boundaries.
