The Position

As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for a fleet of production equipment used for production of plastic components for the FlexTouch® injection pen. The equipment includes industrial robots and automatic decoration lines, including laser engraving and vision systems to ensure the quality of the items to make sure patients are kept safe. 

 

We are supporting the local operations teams in Denmark, US, Czech Republic and China.

 

You can expect a lot of variation in your daily tasks, such as:

  • Provide technical support to local operations worldwide

  • Participate in deviations or customer complaints and handle change requests.

  • Responsible for ensuring validated state, GMP compliance and readiness for inspection/audit.

  • Financially responsible for spare part budget, repairs and maintenance.

  • Enabling the local operations teams to ramp-up production as quickly as possible

  • Risk assessment of fleet and strategy for replacing obsolete parts

 

Therefore, you need to be ready for 10-20% travelling.

 

Qualifications

The qualifications we value include having:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within a relevant field of Engineering, Mechanical, Automation or similar.

  • Solid experience within a pharmaceutical company, stakeholder management and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

  • Enjoy technical problem solving and have strong communication skills.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

 

As a person, you are ambitious, proactive and ready to interact with people at all levels in the organisation. You have technical understanding and solve problems systematically, independently and through cooperation when applicable.

 

About the department

Global Automation Operations is part of Device Manufacturing and Sourcing (DMS) located in Hillerød. The team consist of highly dedicated Process Engineers and Automation Technicians, each with their area of expertise and several years of experience in production and quality areas. It is a team crucial for the continuous improvement of our processes, ensuring timely delivery of our products without compromising on quality. Our main tasks are to provide support to all our local operations teams and keep the fleets healthy through proactive upgrades (Life Cycle Management).
