The Position
As a Senior Moulding Engineer at Novo Nordisk, you will play a crucial role in managing our global feet of moulding tools. You will work with our external moulders to manage our assets and ensure the production delivery of plastic components for our medical device systems.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Optimization of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through daily engagement with our global network of external moulders.
- Safeguarding our copy mould concepts and baseline processes.
- Execution of engineering initiatives to capture the relevant process improvement opportunities.
- Spare part ordering and validations.
- Taking lead on systematic problem solving.
- GMP compliance and inspection readiness.
Our global network of external moulders is located in North America, Europe and Asia. Hence some travel activities must be expected. Due to time zones, some flexibility in the workday is also required from time to time.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree or higher within a relevant field of engineering.
- Have several years of experience within injection moulding or mechanical moulding.
- Proven expertise in problem solving deviating mould performance.
- Full proficiency in English.
- It would be an advantage if you are familiar with GMP.
As a person you are an ambitious team-player, proactive and you possess a strong and positive can-do mindset. You have excellent investigation skills, and a root cause analysis mindset. Finally, you thrive in working in an international environment
About the department
Technical Operations is a sub-function under Global Contract Manufacturing Devices. We are accountable for our production equipment capabilities, to be able to meet performance requirements. The department currently consists of 6 teams where 2 are supporting moulds, 2 are supporting robot and decoration equipment and 2 are supporting assembly and pack. From our office in Hillerød we have a spectacular view towards the former Favrholm manor and the protected piece of land surrounding it.
