About the department
As our new Senior Manager you will be a part of a newly established SVP (Senior Vice President) area in Novo Nordisk, where we, through a global programme are seeking to explore the opportunities of expanding the current aseptic filling capacity across our global manufacturing network. More specific, you will join the project team which are responsible for driving the Danish part of the production expansion programme.

 

You will be working closely with your colleagues in the Danish project team on a daily basis, while you will also be a part of a broader collaboration with the programme and work together with colleagues across sites globally, all seeking to establish the future standards for production in Novo Nordisk. Organisationally we are anchored in Novo Nordisk Product Supply which addresses around 19.000 of Novo Nordisk’s more than 44.000 employees.

 

In this position, you will be referring to the Director of Intralogistics and Finished products and be a part of a group of five colleagues within senior management. We have just started our journey and with the support of your senior management colleagues, you will have the opportunity to develop the department from the bottom up and build the team going forward!

 

The position
As Senior Manager for Logistics and Integration, you will be responsible for the integration of intralogistics between all processes in the production facility. In collaboration with a central intralogistics 4.0 department, you will be ensuring that we, in our project, are going for fully automated intralogistics of the future!

You will be central and key in overseeing all integration which will involve heading up building operations, project management and scope management. Your leadership is central to the implementation of LEAN processes, securing operational readiness and integrations all the way from receiving, to shipping of finished goods.

 

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Collaboration with Intralogistics 4.0 and program QA on developing the validation strategy and performance of validation of equipment and processes including documentation.
  • Building the team whilst ensuring the end users requirements are met.
  • Provide clear goals and purpose for the work package and the project team members.
  • Monitor and control project work with stringent follow-up on quality, schedule, and budget so that the project delivers the desired end-product.
  • Ensure that the right number of resources and competences is allocated to the project, negotiate project resources with line of business management and manage these resources during project execution.
     

Quality and compliance will be at the forefront ensuring full compliance with Science- and Risk-based Validation (SRV) principals for the whole intralogistics solution. Furthermore, to bring together logistics and integrations, you will be working closely with senior stakeholders and cross functionally in Novo Nordisk.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you have a Bachelor, Master or PhD within a relevant area and extensive hands-on experience within logistics, warehouse and/or production.

 

Other experiences include:

  • A high level of IT/ automation/ engineering experience and an interest in new technologies.
  • Managerial experience with a proven track record in building/developing teams. Your experience also includes project management.
  • An ability and will to install LEAN culture enabling and empowering your organisation.
  • It is desirable if you have experience with science and risk-based validation.
